I'll have to see if she's in the back, because all you're getting right now is an girl who's pulled an all-nighter reading and trying to figure out how these stupid mushrooms... do their thing. I feel like dying.
[But she's grinning anyway, even while she's staring at baskets of various kinds of them in front of her. It's nice and toasty compared to outside too. White really love sit when Silver comes to visit... even if he sure does have a basket full of bags right now, um.]
[He opens one of the bag to show a bunch of mushrooms; he takes great care not to actually touch the damn things, and the ones in this particular bag are all red.]
[... Oh. She levels a stare at them, then turns her head away with a sigh.]
So the cacti I wanted are the easiest to deal with -- it's their juices that enhance the experience, so you just squeeze it out and keep testing the amount you put in until it's what you want. The berries can be pulverized into jams and syrups, though they're kind of... um, poisonous. To humans. I'll figure out how to deal with that in time.
[first hand experience.]
And those things, [with a finger pointed at the mushrooms,] have spores, I know, but I'd really rather not do anything with them unless I know for a fact I'm not going to find myself crying on the ground with vague delusions of my parents scolding me for not taking Benny out on a walk that morning.
You sound pretty confident for someone who has "a bit" of experience with them.
[You know who never told her he tripped mushrooms? Her brother. Her brother never told her he tripped shrooms with anyone, much less Silver.]
I won't mind if a handsome and kind young man gives me some advice, though. Especially since I have a feeling that if they really are as strong as the cacti, I'm not going to want to be alone doing anything with them.
[And he never will tell her, and neither will Silver, because really some things are just better left unsaid. And forgotten. Like most of his experiences with the mushrooms.]
You might want to get some cleansers, just in case. At least they don't last for more than half an hour.
[...So maybe he has more than a bit of experience with these things-]
That's the thing. Alone, they don't do anything. Mix these with the pink ones, and they'll fill you with love. Mix them with orange, and they'll really piss you off.
[...Well, that explains the bags.]
There was a task board assignment that said not to mix them once. I didn't listen.
[Silver pushes the basket towards White- it has six separate bags full of mushrooms of different colors, the colors being blue, red, green, yellow, orange, and pink.]
I'm not going to subject you to them alone, Silver, that'd just be mean of me! I'd do that to Black.
[Because she is the Nicest Sister Ever, obviously. Let her go around to the other side, she's gonna lean against him and smash them so they can experience whatever the hell this is together.
-- And the feeling of we ride together we die together is very apt at the moment, holy shit, she has felt determination like this a few times before; mostly when it came to sticking up for her brother or speaking out against the King of Despair and it makes her beam, like every obstacle in her path is ready to be steamrolled and there's not a single bad thing that could come out of just saying something she's been holding onto for a bit now.]
I like this one. [The world's warm and shining and it's different than the soft cozy light, it's more like the kind of brightness that comes with standing against an opposing force.] It kind of makes me want to go out and take up one of those dangerous tasks! You definitely weren't joking around when you said this was pretty strong~!
[...That feeling of excitement in the middle of a battle, that driving force that pushes him forward- he's fond of this combination, and it makes him think that maybe this wasn't such a mistake. In fact, it seems to be the opposite of one. They should try a bunch of these, and-]
Have I ever taken you flying on Honchkrow?
[If White's seeking thrills, that's one way to go about it. What Black doesn't know won't hurt him.]
[... Flying sounds exicting. It sounds dangerous and exciting and a bad idea when you're hyped on courage-potion, maybe, but hell if she's ever been afraid of heights.]
[Whether it was or not, White's still both visibly pleased; even if she wasn't grinning, though, what flowers adorn the shop are looking very vibrant now. And they're dancing a bit.]
Maybe I'll take you up on your offer, then. Though I kind of want to see what it'd be like to hang off his legs too.

What do you have there?
no subject
Mushrooms, actually.

[.................]
Those cacti are really, really potent.

[Boy, does he believe her. Messing with stuff for emotion potions is a sticky business.]
...The mushrooms are just as strong, and kind of hard to control. I have a bit of first hand experience with them.
[...From the sound of it, it's more than a bit.]

I'm going to have to strengthen these too at some point, if they're anything like the medicine back home... What flavor of mushrooms are those?
no subject
[...Well, that explains the bags.]

[She pushes her little baskets aside, leaning on the counter, grinning mischievously.]
Let's mix and match and see what we get.

White looks at all of them, chin propped up by her hand, before she plucks blue and yellow from their bags and holds them up.]
Do I just smash them together or something? Or do they just need to touch in general?
no subject
[He looks considerably alarmed as she picks them up, then quickly shakes his head and continues.]
You tap them together. If you want to cry for the next half hour, go ahead.
no subject
She's just gonna... gently set the blue back down, hand reaching for the red instead. Kind of pausing over it to see his reaction.]
no subject
...He really should have tried more of these, shouldn't he. He offers a brief shrug and nothing more.]
You can smash them in my face, if you want.
[Or in both of their faces, although that doesn't sound very tactically sound.]

Disappointingly no. Can he fit two people?

[Was that intentional? Is he just an idiot? Who knows.]
